ART 2133 - Glass Sculpture I Credits: 3
Expands upon glass blowing techniques covered in Glass Blowing IV. We will begin with a review of historical techniques and use them to help in defining an individual aesthetic and visual vocabulary. This course will focus on refining technical skills in both the hot and cold shop to create both traditional and innovative glass forms. A supply fee is required; additional costs may be incurred based on individual student need. See course notes in eServices for additional information. Students should be prepared to spend 6-8 hours per week outside of class working on assignments in the on-campus art studios and facilities.
