Catalog Description
This course provides an overview of the labor relations and collective bargaining systems. Students will gain an understanding of why employees join labor unions, how labor unions function in the workplace, and how employers respond to and are affected by labor unions. A balanced perspective will be obtained through the identification and analysis of historical and contemporary labor issues.
