Catalog Description This course is a survey of Minnesota history - the people, institutions, and cultural traditions from geologic origins to the present. It includes such topics as the Ice Age, indigenous peoples, exploration and the French fur trade, red-white relations, the treaty process, and social, economic, and political developments. It may include field trips to historic sites.
