HUM 2233 - Women in American Culture Credits: 3
Catalog Description This course will introduce students to the varied experiences of women in the United States, as well as changing ideas about women and gender itself, through an interdisciplinary study within the arts and humanities. It examines the cultural legacies and traditions which have influenced the lives of women, and recognizes the creative contributions American women have made, and continue to make, within these contexts to the country’s development.
