PHYS 1317 - General Physics I Credits: 5
Catalog Description This is the first semester of a two-semester sequence of introductory physics for students with any major. This course uses an algebra-based mathematical representation. Topics include kinematics, Newton’s laws of motion, energy, momentum, rotational motion, fluids, gravitation, oscillations and waves, and thermodynamics.
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): MATH 1200 or concurrent enrollment
