 Catalog Description
 This is the first semester of a two-semester sequence of introductory physics for students with any major. This course uses a calculus-based mathematical representation. This course also meets requirements for students majoring in engineering, mathematics, and computer science. Topics include kinematics, Newton’s laws of motion, energy, momentum, rotational motion, fluids, gravitation, oscillations and waves, and thermodynamics.
 
 Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better) or Corequisite(s): MATH 1400
