MUSC 2227 - Advanced Aural Comprehension II Credits: 2
Advanced Aural Comprehension II continues the sequence of ear training and sight-singing. Aural comprehension continues to develop the ear and its ability to perceive and identify both large and small patterns in music through ear training, sight-singing, and rhythmic performance. Intended for students with prior performance experience in music, i.e., band, choir, etc. Students are required to register for MUSC 2226 . This course is required for students pursuing the Music, AFA .
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): MUSC 2217 Corequisite(s): MUSC 2226 Recommended Skills, Abilities, or Coursework: For students with prior music performance experience. Students preparing for the Music, AFA major are required to have the Advanced Aural Comprehension sequence, i.e. MUSC 1117 , MUSC 1127 , MUSC 2217 , and MUSC 2227
