PHAR 1100 - Intro to Pharmaceuticals-LEC/LAB

This class will provide general information on the use and side effects of the top 100 medications used in the pharmaceutical industry within specified classifications. Students will review drug trade names and generic names as well as drug classifications and routes of administration. Drug classifications include anti-infectives, endocrine, gastrointestinal, hormonal, narcotic, neurological, psychiatric, renal, and respiratory. Routes of administration topics include topical, ophthalmic, otic, and oral agents.
