PRSW 2500 - Field Experience in Social Work
Credits: 3
This course involves entry-level supervised field experience with a social service agency. Students complete 120 hours of experiential learning and attend a regularly scheduled seminar that integrates the field experience with reflection, social work values, knowledge, and practice skills. An application is required during the semester before registration. Students should be aware that a MN Human Services background study and fingerprinting may be required. In addition, some field-experience sites may have a minimum-age requirement.
