ART 1131 - Glass Blowing I
Credits: 3
This course introduces the basic techniques involved in forming glass from its molten state. The primary concern is creative expression with a technical understanding. The purpose of this course is to give the student the experience, understanding, and technical knowledge for shaping and forming glass vessels. A supply fee is required. Additional costs may be incurred based on individual student need. See course notes in eServices or contact the instructor for additional information. Students must be prepared to spend 6-8 hours per week in the studio outside of class.
