ART 1150 - Introduction to Graphic Design Credits: 3
The course introduces students to the basic processes and techniques of traditional hand-drawn and computer-aided graphic design. The course will address image manipulation, page layout, font style, and printing options. Basic visual design principles are an important component of this course. Students will create dynamic designs that express a conceptual idea, persuade the viewer, or convey information. A course fee is required and additional costs may be incurred based on individual student need. See course notes in eServices or contact the instructor for additional information. Students should be prepared to work in the studio outside of class during the semester.
