ASL 2202 - American Sign Language and Culture IV Credits: 4
Continuation of the overview of American Sign Language, its basic vocabulary, structure, history and the deaf community. Students continue to learn the basics for communication with deaf individuals; they also continue to learn how to express abstract concepts in ASL. Course is designed to build student vocabularies, develop greater fluency in expressive signing, and develop confidence in receptive skills.
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): ASL 2201 or permission of instructor MnTC Goal(s): Goal 8
