BIOL 2113 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I Credits: 4
This course is an intensive, detailed study of body structure and function utilizing principles of chemistry, biochemistry, anatomy, and physiology. The following topics will be explored: the process of science, introduction to anatomy and physiology, and homeostasis, basic chemistry and biochemistry, cell and metabolism, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, articulations, muscular system, nervous system, and special senses. Laboratory work will include animal dissection, data collection and analysis. Course consists of 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of lab weekly.
