This course addresses the key concepts, common practices, major roles and functions associated with the discipline of Human Resource Management. Students will analyze the role of human resource management as it contributes to an organization’s strategic objectives. Major topics include job analysis and evaluation, recruitment, staffing and selection, compensation, training and development, labor relations, occupational health and safety, onboarding, and other associated activities.
