CNET 2320 - Unified Communications/VoIP
Credits: 3
This course introduces the basic concepts of Unified Communication (UC)/Voice over IP (VoIP) and contrasts them with circuit switch telephony. Through class lectures, labs, discussions, and supplementary materials, the student will be able to understand the architecture, protocols and key attributes and considerations required to engineer integrated voice and data networks. Case studies will also be used to show real world examples of the technology in use as well as next-generation applications.
