ENGL 1121 - College Writing and Critical Reading Credits: 4
This course provides extended practice in critical reading, writing, and thinking. The content includes the writing process, essential composition skills, and critical reasoning in various rhetorical situations. Students will learn to compose effectively reasoned essays supported by evidence from credible sources.
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): Any of the following: College-Level Writing Placement, ENGL 1121 Placement (based upon ESL Writing Score), or ELL 0850 or ENGL 0990 MnTC Goal(s): Goals 1A and 2 Course Notes: This course is also offered through Anoka-Ramsey’s Concurrent Enrollment Program.
