NURS 2460 - Health Restoration: Acute/Complex Alterations Credits: 4
Catalog Description This course builds on the concepts learned in previous semesters and co-requisite coursework. The course focuses on the dynamic relationships between acute, chronic, and complex disruption of normal physiological and psychological health and the nursing care of clients. A holistic perspective is applied across the lifespan in the care of clients experiencing a complex alteration in health. Conceptual knowledge is further developed to enhance clinical judgement related to caring for clients experiencing complications of illness.
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): NURS 2360 , NURS 2362 , NURS 2390 , BIOL 1900 or BIOL 2201 , PSYC 1110 or PSYC 2235
