MATH 1200 - College Algebra Credits: 3
Prepares students for Calculus I (MATH 1400 ) when taken in sequence with MATH 1201 , or for Survey of Calculus (MATH 1310 ). Topics include functions and function inverses; exponential and logarithmic functions; polynomial and simple rational functions; systems of equations and inequalities; sequences and series; probability; and modeling.
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better): Appropriate score on the math placement test, concurrent registration in MATH 0120 , or MATH 0250 Recommended Skills, Abilities, or Coursework: The completion of two years of high school algebra and one year of high school geometry and college level reading is recommended.
