ADCS 1110 - Pharmacology and Co-Occurring Disorders Credits: 3
This course provides the knowledge related to psychoactive drug classifications and the physiological, biochemical, and psychological effects of psychoactive drugs. It will cover the characteristics of several types of mental illness, how they co-vary with substance use disorders, as well as the treatment modalities.
Prerequisite(s) (must have a grade of C or better) or Corequisite(s): ADCS 1120 and HPER 1102 Recommended Skills, Abilities, or Coursework: Must be able to read and write at a college level as demonstrated by meeting enrollment requirements for ENGL 1121.
