NURS 2462 - Nursing Leadership Credits: 2
This course combines the theoretical principles and concepts learned in previous semesters and co-requisite coursework with a focus on conceptual connections to health care systems. Leadership theories are introduced, and health care policy, finance, and regulatory environment issues are analyzed. The course will emphasize the frameworks for providing leadership in healthcare systems that will enhance the nurse’s ability to provide holistic care across the lifespan. The student will perform in a leadership role in a variety of settings.
